Shipping Protection Plan: How do I go about getting a stolen package claim processed?
In rare cases of a missing or stolen delivered package, additional documentation like a police report or notarized statement may be required to process your claim.
In rare cases, when a package is marked as delivered but is reported missing or stolen, we may need to request additional documentation to help us move your claim forward. This step helps protect both you and our package protection program.
If requested, you may be asked to provide either a police report or an in-person notarized statement. When filing a police report, please include a note explaining that the package protection program and that your protected package was stolen. Once completed, you’ll send us the police report PDF and report number through your order issue. If a notarized statement is requested instead, we’ll ask for a screenshot and details of the form signed by a notary public.
In some situations, we may also request additional information such as proof of identity, address verification, or other supporting documents. These requests help us resolve your claim as quickly and accurately as possible.
Please note that filing a false police report is a serious matter and may carry legal consequences depending on local laws. If your order is covered under standard shipping coverage, you’ll need to file a claim directly with the shipping carrier, and processing times may vary.
If you have questions at any point, our support team is here to guide you through each step and make the process as smooth as possible.
