Who pays return shipping?
If a return is due to an error or fitment recommendation on our part, we will cover the return shipping costs. For customer initiated returns, the customer is generally responsible for return shipping, and returns from outside the lower 48 US states are always the customer's responsibility.
We understand that return shipping costs can be a concern, and we always try to handle every situation as fairly as possible. Here is a breakdown of how return shipping costs are handled depending on the circumstances of your return.
If the return is due to our error
If we made a mistake on your order, such as shipping the wrong product or confirming a fitment recommendation that turned out to be incorrect, we will take responsibility for the return shipping costs. Our goal is to always make things right if the issue was on our end.
If the return is due to our fitment recommendation
If our sales team confirmed fitment for your vehicle and the product does not fit as expected, we will work with you to cover the return shipping costs as long as the item is still in like new condition. We stand behind our fitment recommendations and want to make sure you are taken care of.
If the return is a customer initiated return
If you are returning an item for a reason unrelated to an error on our part, such as a change of preference or ordering the wrong size without consulting our team, the customer is generally responsible for return shipping costs. Returns may also be subject to a restocking fee depending on the product and its stage in the fulfillment process.
If the return is from outside the lower 48 US states
For returns originating outside of the lower 48 US states, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs including repacking, pickup, and transportation fees.
A few additional things to keep in mind
- All returns must be approved before sending anything back. Contact us first to request a return authorization
- Items must be properly packaged for return shipping. If items are not packaged correctly and are damaged during return shipping, the customer may be responsible for the cost of the damaged product
- Return packaging and instructions can be provided if needed
- Return requests must be made within 30 days of receiving your order and items must be shipped back within 10 days of return approval
